Interesting system! Great, animated and invested GM and a nice idiosyncratic party... it will be interesting to see how it unfolds. :)

Weissengruber: stop showing up late. Other than that it was crazy fun.

We enjoyed our very first monthly boardgame meetup and definitely plan to attend the next one. Although my son and I very shy about attending, we were quickly put at ease. People were friendly and patient when teaching us new (to us) games.

I agree with Mamerin. While the food and service are good, the tables are big and the size is adequate, there's a big problem with lighting. Most of the room is dark and a little dingy, and when the sun begins to set it's like a cave. Other than that, had lots of fun.

Can't wait for the next one. (Well I can, but I am only because I have to.)

That was a lot of fun playing and discovering new games. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Thanks

Find another venue - I don't like that place.

We did a lot of set up work. It was a shame we couldn't complete character creation. Will be done over the internets in the next few weeks.

THE GAME WAS CANCELED ON SHORT NOTICE. For future reference its best people contact the DM via the email supplied in the description to confirm their intention.

Some great people contributed to the game - either in person or online. It made for a fun, raucous one-shot. Thanks to everything that participated. Please donate to Child's Play Charity - either at RPGive.org or RuleofCool.com. Any donation - no matter the size - gets a free copy of Legend.

    Pretty fun, silly wargame.

Wow! A bunch of people showed up to play an unfamiliar game with an vague premise, gave it all they got, and offered great comments and questions. What a very rewarding hobby. Diaspora's abstracted large-scale combat might not have the precision of a true wargame, but it provides tactically rich choices for the kind of situations that might emerge out of a roleplaying game. And that's what its designed to do.

The people were nice, GMs were helpful in teaching games, food was decent, and I like the bring and buy idea.

Had an extremely good day. Got rid of 11 out of the 12 games I wanted to sell, played a few unique games, and enjoyed some of my recent purchases.

A wonderful time. Didn't get all the ARRG and TAG people we had expected. The Pathfinder crew all showed up and ran full tables. Let's get more people out next time.
