A lot of fun playing with the genre conventions with lots of improv on the part of the players and GM. Despite being an at most middling muscled mild-mannered botanist who had great brains and wasn't that cool, my character spent most of the adventure shirtless and something like a combination of these two images: http://images.ourontario.ca/Laurier/27929/image/198260?n=5 and http://listverse.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/mans-life-1958-01-jan-cover-by-wil-hulsey-8x6.jpg Alexander crafted the Fudge system to get out the way for B-movie fun very, very quickly. Hope to play again sometime soon with the people who played today.

Thank you to all the players for making my first Fudge game SUPERB! The players took the game in a different direction than I had envisioned but made it more fun. GREAT work everybody.

Come on... Are you kidding me? Fun as hell. Playing out the tropes of 50's monster movies was wicked fun with this group. Thanks again to Alex for running and to all the fellas in attendance. I saw some DIY fudge dice and re lived some moments from my True20 days. Had some fun RPG discussion after session. Wicked and thanks again everyone. (:

A bit noisy with all of the summer renovations at the Hub. But a great crew.

I had a lot of fun as usual. BUT surprisingly I did not play Puerto Rico (which I usually play) or Resistance (which for one reason or another I wasn't available to play). however I did learn 4!!! new games. My favourite was Mordred, but I also liked Hive a 2 player game which I think I will buy!!

Nice night out in Etobicoke. Too bad I couldn't lure anyone into playing "Guards! Guards!". Maybe next time...but I did get to play Brewmaster, which was fitting for the venue.

Seven wonders, Cash & Guns, Citadel... Plenty of good time. We were a bit tired, by the end.

Nice to bring the story arc to a conclusion. GM was a little too improvisatory and the session lacked structure. Fun was had by all.

Oodles of fun. Games are played in both the front area and back in the main brewing area. There's a wide variety of games played and, of course, beer that's practically free. I only wish I could spend more time there (or that I was a beer drinker).

Let's see: the most powerful sorcerer in England is apparently a 12 year-old boy, don't accept injections from strange medical students, severed heads make good polo balls, demons can be surprisingly reasonable, sorcerers are the really vicious ones, watch out clockwork cats, and art wins over technology. Still didn't find out what happens when you impregnate your own demon.

Wow. 5 player characters, each with a bound demon. 2 non-player sorcerers, each with a demon. Add a jilted lover and a questionable servant. That was a lot of mayhem.

A little sad about one player's long wait to get into the action. And he didn't even have a chance to roll dice! Looking forward to the explosive conclusion of this mayhem.
