FORUM MODERATION

As a volunteer run group we do our best to ensure that the discussions on our forums are friendly, inclusive and discussing gaming in a positive tone. It is however impossible for us to monitor every post on every thread. If you have a questions or concern about what is appropriate for posting please refer to our member responsibility guidelines.

We reserve the right to remove posts and threads that do not meet the member responsibility guidelines as well as posts which members have filed a complaint on.

Moderation Process

1. When a post or thread is identified that does not meet the member responsibility guidelines a Co-Organizer will immediately remove the post or thread. A record of this will be kept for the other Organizers to access as needed when assessing any issues.

2. Once a post or thread has been removed the Co-Organizer will contact the member who developed the post or thread and notify them of the removal and the reason for removal as well as refer the member to the member responsibility guidelines.

3. If the member would like to appeal the issue they can contact any other Co-Organizer or the Organizer.

4. If the member appeals, or if the Co-Organizer who removed the post or thread feels that the issue is escalating they will message the Group Organizer or other Co-Organizers, privately, to discuss the situation.

5. If the matter requires further moderation / resolution a different Co-Organizer will be assigned to resolve the issue and continue discussions with the member.

6. All moderation issues can be brought to the Group Organizer for final decisions. Keep in mind that we are a volunteer organization and requiring a response from one specific person may be a longer process.

NOTE: TAG is not responsible for keeping records of the original postings / threads. If you feel your post or thread may be moderated consider bringing it inline with the membership guidelines, asking a Co-Organizer for an opinion before posting or keeping your own records.
